1. Simple installation (Ride on existing building network)

Installation of Network Video Server / Recorder or IP Camera is just like the installation of LAN point in your office or building. The recording, playback and monitoring can be done anywhere within the LAN and WAN, if the WAN line speed is fast enough..

2. Mobility after the installation

All IP camera or Network Video Server/Recorder can be easily moved by plug and unplug from Ethernet switch without affecting the overall system.

The conventional CCTV system required installation of longer cable and new power point if camera is relocated. It is almost impossible to move the DVR because it required to reinstall all video cable.

3. High Scalability

Camera and Network Video Server can be easily added because IP network works as a virtual multiplexer. Storage capacity can be easily increased by using NAS and NVR.

4. Faulty Tolerance

Network CCTV is based on distribution system, which is more reliable and stable. One of the IP camera or Network Video Server/Recorder is down, it may only affect a portion of the system. The overall system still functioning.

Conventional CCTV is based on centralized system. If the DVR is down, the whole system will stop functioning.
